What is an Integral coach? Like a conventional life-coach, an Integral coach is a professional whose service is designed to maximize your performance and fulfillment in all areas of life. Conventional coaching usually focuses on work, career, relationships, money, wellness, and spirituality, but an Integral coach holds a uniquely integrated perspective and can act as a trusted partner on the road to higher development, success, and self-actualization.

An Integral coach is a skilled listener, trained to customize an individuated approach to your goals and needs. He empowers you to tap into—and act upon—innate sources of intelligence, creativity, and strength. A coach’s function is to support you in the process of discovering and cultivating the skills and resources that you already possess. However, unlike a conventional coach, an Integral coach is oriented towards “2nd-tier” (and even “3rd tier”) goals. These higher tiers of development denote a "momentous leap of meaning" whereby fear-based needs are replaced by being-based needs. This requires a radically more inclusive stance—one that honors the legitimate aspirations of the ego, but also goes significantly beyond them. A 2nd-tier or Integral approach to self-development serves both the individual and the greater whole.
